Twists and Turns

The end of last week was one where I found many twists and turns, never knowing what was round the corner. Suffice to say I was excited, embarrassed, busy and tired after the few days were over.

iPhone was purchased, remember I told you....well yes, it is white! That was a day to remember. I don't think I will tell the full story but as usual the experience at an Apple store on launch day is something I really enjoy. Staff who make the difference.

Today I met different people while shopping for delicious fresh vegetables. Chatted to the man who sells various oils. He had just come back from Italy, replenishing his stock with fairly traded olive oils. Brought my own bottles, he filled them up! A man with vats of oil who makes a difference as he took time to explain the use of each one.

Another chat with a lady who sells all the colourful vegetables. I can ask questions, enjoy her tips about using each veg or herb. Knowledge of cooking, flavours, storage, shared with a customer. The fact she remembers me, the dietary requirements I had explained to her several weeks ago. This lady makes all the difference.

The beginning of a new week, will I make a difference to something or someone I might meet?
Even if I don't meet you in person it would be nice to think that even online we can all make a difference if we take time to think at each twist and turn

I chose this photo I took yesterday. The lady who sells the prettiest vegetables, colour abounds yet these show nature's twists and turns with gourds. Some people may just think they are ugly but I see texture, colours, nature's beauty.

Nature twists and turns in people, we should just see the beauty in the people we meet. It's not always easy or clear to see beauty hidden deep inside.

I will share the other photos throughout the week just call back when I have had time to think.

My journey continues with my iPhone. I have just thought iphoneography has opened my eyes wider to the world around me. I always noticed detail and indulged in colours.

This week I have added the warmth of people who spared their time to chat to me, the staff at Apple, the lady with the vegetables, the man with the oil, observers of human nature who helped to edify my mind. I saw their beauty

Today I experienced a touch of dismay but after taking a tranquil walk, listening to the birds, reflecting on feelings. Nature's beauty has once again given me food for thought. I have taken more photos to keep me inspired
