Rememberance Day

Sharing a picture I stitched several years ago, many shades of red threads, hours of creativity, reminding me of the months spent sewing just one of many pictures we have on our walls helped to calm my mind, escaping the rush of the world around.

Remembering a different aspect of my creativity, one which I thoroughly enjoy as I can express my need of perfection, not always a good point but a skill passed down our family line. Remembering my grandparents and much loved and missed mum.

Today we remember men and women who bravely fought for our country and those who serve today. A poppy is the emblem to represent these somber memories. Lest we forget, we will remember them..... from the rising of the sun, to the going down of the same
